Maximilian Glass is a sound and visual artist living in Berlin. With a background in radioart and turntablism he is composing and researching in- and outside complementary relationships by shaping material and space through movement and sound. His work is based on individual and collective processes including interdisciplinary collaborations, site-specific actions and self-build instruments.
Since 2019 he presents his work at independent and institutional venues, galleries and festivals – f.e. at C. Rockefeller Center for Contemporary Arts (Dresden), Stadtmuseum (München), Casa Del Lago (Mexico-City), West Germany (Berlin), Dolomiti Contemporanee (Progettoborca), Forplay Society (Fort Kochi), Zixp Festival (Leipzig), NNOI Festival (Großwoltersdorf), Papiripar Festival (Hamburg), Space21 Festival (Slemani), Festival Internacional de Libre Expresión (Cuernavaca).
From 2018 to 2021 he was part of the artistic direction at Seanaps Festival in Leipzig, taking care of the curation and artistic production, including the installment of a laboratory for radio related practice.
